In November 1965, the SS Yarmouth Castle caught fire and tragically sank, marking a dark day in the cruise industry claiming 90 lives.
We invite you to join us as Captain Eric Takakjian and Captain Randall Peffer share their insights and reflections on that tragic night. This is a story of the loss, resilience, and lessons learned that continue to shape the maritime safety today.
Following the discussion, the authors will also sing copies of the Yarmouth Castle Burning.
